Sam
Leidesdorf was a self-made man, earning his wealth through the success
of his own accounting firm, S. D. Leidesdorf & Co. of New York. This
enabled him to affiliate with the very elite in the U.S. during the
early-to-mid 1900s, including the likenesses of the Roosevelt and
Rockefeller families. He was a close personal friend of Albert Einstein's. |
