Did you ever wonder what your ancestors were like
in the
1930 US Census?

Now you can find your family and it's really simple. Click here to order yours!

If they were immigrants, what year did they arrive?

Could they read or write?

Where were they born?

Where were their parents born?

Were they citizens of the United States?

What did they do for a living?

Were they a veteran of any war?

The United States keeps census records private from the public for 72 years to protect living persons.  This means we must wait 72 years after a census has been taken before it is made available for public viewing and searching.

On April 1, 2002, the 1930 Federal Census for the United States was made available.  And you can obtain a copy of the page that contains your family.  There are many things you can learn about your family from it - whether it is for your parents, grandparents, or even great-grandparents!

Did they own or rent the house they were living in?

Who was living with them?

Were they single, married, widowed or divorced?

Could they speak English?

Where were they living?

Were they employed at the time?

Who were their neighbors?
